Gary Bowers was born in Southern California but has lived in Arizona most of his life, earning a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Arizona. He has been a cover and interior artist for the Glendale Community College literary magazine, The Traveler, has illustrated poetry collections for local poets, and his work has been selected for Glendale Arts Council’s annual juried show since the 70s.
