Sophia McGovern received Bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing and Global Studies from Arizona State University, and will start her MEd in Secondary Education this fall. She splits her time between working in an alternative high school, running an ESL program for naturalization preparation, making zines with Water Sprouts Collective, and running little somethings press. Her work was nominated for the 2017 Pushcart Prize, and can be found in Beautiful Cadavers Project Anthology, Uncomfortable Revolution, Crux Magazine, Four Chambers, and other publications.
