Why the Canyon is Grand

Eve was a lesbian
who loved Mary with a passion
that cracked the world.

God was so jealous
he ground them down
to oblivion.

The tears of Mother Earth
carved furrows
in her cheeks.

Now their bodies
bleed a red river

that feeds us all.
